1102 Ocean Front

The condo is approximately 1200 square feet, the size of a normal one level ranch home. The layout is rectangular with the balcony looking out over the lower deck with Tiki bar, full size pool, and kids pool. The view then expands panoramically over beach and ocean toward the east (Sunrise). The front of the condo faces the west looking out over the bay. Walkways on the front of the building are open giving another wide view of the bay side. Four elevators and two stairways on the front of the building give access to the condo. The front door of this condo is situated just behind one of the stairways sheltering it just a little. This works out well giving a safely nestled in feeling.

In season — Check in time is between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Off season — If you would like to arrive earlier or later, often we can accommodate, please ask

In season — 10:00 am.  Please understand the cleaning crew is allocated between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm for cleaning . . .

Off season — If you would like to stay later please let us know and we can likely accommodate . . .

Yes.  The Paypal link works quite well.  It is actually the easiest method for us to receive payment . . . It has been used several times since we started offering it. For us to receive payment via PayPal, the PayPal company charges us 2.9% of the transaction amount, so you may actually prefer to send a check.  If you would like to pay via PayPal we must unfortunately add the 2.9% to the rental amount . . .  For example our weekend rate of 275 (which includes everything . . .)  will increase by PayPal’s 2.9%  or 7.98 to become $283.00.

The 94th Street Shopping Plaza including a Super Fresh grocery store and Roses department store, and several others are directly across the street.  Saint Luke’s Catholic Church is diagonally across the street to the right.
There is a park located on 127th Street (Bayside), The name is North Side Park.  It includes a nice paved pathway for walking, running, riding scooters, riding bikes etc. There are restrooms and a baseball diamond too.  It’s fairly good size and fairly well done with scenic views of the bay.  It also a good place for a picnic . . .  You can put the bikes in your car or ride them to and from.  It’s about 1.2 miles from The Plaza.
In the lower level of the parking garage on the south end, (in the same row as the parking space #120 assigned to this unit where you have already parked or will park) you will find a bicycle rack.  Both bicycles are Red and have White/Black Lettering indicating 1102.  Both are 18 speed with road/off road tires . . .  The one key provided operates both locks. Please be careful!!!  Consider taking them to the park on 127th street bayside . . .

Yes. Please return the condo to the condition which you received it.  We are continually engaged in keeping the condo up to a “clean” standard so that everyone can enjoy.  We do have a cleaning service that we pay and schedule to come in after each guest, but find that during the summer season it gets a reasonably high but expected share of traffic, wear, and tear.  Compounding the problem is the short time between guests allows approximately a five hour window for the cleaning service to get in and out.  While this sounds like plenty of time, consider that these same cleaning people must clean many units in the same window of time.  The result is that we find they do a better job off season than in season.  Please help us keep the unit clean . . .  Please also understand that if you arrive early you may encourage or discourage the cleaning service from doing their job.  If you should arrive before they have done so, please encourage them to do a good job!  If it appears they are late or haven’t been there at all please call us as soon as possible 443-253-6134 so we can remedy the situation. . . The carpets are cleaned approximately four times per year — Once immediately before the summer in late May, once during the summer ~June/July, once after the summer ~Sept./Oct., and once during the winter ~Jan/Feb.;  Detailing and deep cleaning including moving all the furniture wiping all the surfaces, and pulling out the stove and refrigerator is performed immediately before the summer season begins, then again after the summer season ends and then again during the winter.  We try to do our best, and are looking for ways to improve, please help us to do so . . .
Ocean front, Up to date building and beautiful unit –

(New Carpet, fresh paint, wifi on, AC new, deep cleaning and repairs complete, Direct TV, flatscreen TVs, new entertainment center, new PC (05/04/15).

The Links at Lighthouse Sound is located approximately 5 miles away from the Plaza (just over the 62nd street bridge . . .  During the summer of 2003 the driving range provided unlimited balls and time for $15.  There are several other courses nearby.  Please consult your favorite search engine or yellow pages . . .

Directions to Lighthouse Sound From The Plaza (Ocean City):

  • Exit the parking garage and make a left onto Coastal Highway
  • Make a right onto the Route 90 Bridge Located at 62nd St. in Ocean City.
  • Travel West on Route 90 over the first Bridge to the first traffic Light at St. Martins Neck Rd. (approx. 2 miles)
  • At the traffic light make a right onto St. Martins Neck Rd.
  • Travel 1 mile, make your second right into our parking lot.

This condo was a great fit for our family to stay in. We enjoyed all of the modern amenities the condo and the building had. The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were one of the many highlights of the stay. The owners were very nice and made our stay very enjoyable. We highly recommend staying at 1102!
